🎂 20 Years in a Hurricane 🌀

This week was a pretty fun one. Tuesday morning, our Zone Leaders contacted us that we were going to do divisions with them. A little soon for my "Chiki" to be going off with another companion after like 5 days but oh well. Elder Fairbanks came on over and we learned a lot about contacting people. 

The hurricane hit us this Friday. 🌀 Luckily we're in a pretty good spot that there was almost no flooding. 🌊 The power also only went out once, and it was for just a few hours in the afternoon one day. We did have to buy some rain-boots though in order to avoid getting all soaked. Downside is now my feet are dry, but I have blisters from the irritation of the boots. 🥾

Friday I turned 20. 🥳 We celebrated my birthday with cake in the night with our pensionista. 🎂 This birthday honestly kind of just passed by. I don't exactly feel magically different, so we'll just have to wait and see the difference when I get back. ✨️ Speaking of which, I have exactly 8 months left in the mission. Or in other terms, I've completed ⅔ already. Time flies by quick. 

This morning we went up the stream near our house. 🏞 It's only about a 15 minute hike, but we got to see a sick waterfall. Then we bought some stuff from the store, then played a board game called "Beer and Vikings." 🍺
