Trio down in Hotel California ๐Ÿจ

This week was great. We had a family home evening with the Fernandez family so we bought a tub of ice-cream for us all to share. ๐Ÿฆ We also had exchanges, so my companion and I both went to Mezapa and just traded companions while we were there. ๐ŸšŒ It was very interesting to have two gringos teaching together, especially with our limited vocabulary. We decorated the house a little more for Christmas too. We still haven't had groceries for a while either, so we have been going down to a local baleadas place and to the pulperia next door to buy some breakfast and snacks for us. ๐Ÿซ“ We also had one fun dinner where we ate some chicken tamales that were delicious and then sang some "Hotel California" with the kiddos. ๐Ÿซ”

Last night, we also received news of our transfers. My companion Elder Aguero is heading down to Olanchito as a Zone Leader and I'm moving over to Berlin, real close to Camalote, to be in a trio with a Mexicano, Elder Teran, and a gringo, Elder Gaylie. ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฝ ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ I'm really excited since this will be the first time I get an actual church building and a ward with members.

Since today is our last day together, Elder Aguero and I went shopping a little to get some going away presents for some of the people in Camalote and ourselves. ๐ŸŽ We got a little Dragonball keychain for Edwin Fernandez, their father, a little octopus plush for Sarai, and a small stuffed panda bear for Gladys and Iris. ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿผ We also bought another T-shirt each for 20 Lempiras, less than a dollar, and then got myself a new wallet to hold all of my money and ID cards and such. I also gave the pinball machine I made to the Fernandez children since I thought they might enjoy it.

We will see what these next exchanges will be like, but all in all a very fun week.
