🍞 It's Christmas! Bring me My Bread! 🍞

The week of Christmas has finally come! 🎄 So, we did a bunch of fun stuff. First off we had Zone Conference. We got to listen to President talk, and then played BINGO, musical chairs, and got some presents! 🪑 I ended up winning BINGO so I ended up getting a jumbo sized box of "Trix" cereal, which is about as big as an 8 year old child. 📦 Then we ended up getting cool reindeer decorated bottles of Coke, some candy goodie bags, and a sick Guatemalan tie with the temple on it. 🍬 On Sunday, I ended up singing a last minute musical number with a group of the Relief Society and Elder Gailey on Piano. 🎼 We also went out handing out chickens and bags of bread to different members for their Christmas dinners. 🍞

Speaking of, we ate a ton for our Christmas Eve dinner. 🍽️ We were planning on heading to one member's house to eat, then another's to pass by and say hi, but our plans were spoiled. Another member waved us over while we were walking down the street, so they could feed us a little bit, so we stocked up on sandwiches. 🥪 Then we started heading down to one member, Sarahi's house, to eat our actual dinner of chicken rice, and soda. 🍗 We set off some firecrackers too, did some sparklers, and then sang a bunch of Christmas Carols.🧨 We had instructions from our leaders that it was going to be hard visiting people, since it was Christmas Eve, so they told us to sing Christmas Carols to help get people out of their homes. 🎶 It worked pretty well, we ended up singing carols to about 12 or so different homes. 🎵 After Sarahi, we went over to Hermana Patricia because we promised to stop by and say hi, but of course she ended up trying to feed us another chicken dinner. My Companion also couldn't finish his food, so I ate it for him.

We also had a fun visit with the father of one of our investigators. We went over to ask permission so his son could be baptized. 🌊 He seemed cool about it, and gave us the ok, meaning this Sunday we may very likely have a baptism which is great! 

Christmas is today as well, so we did a few fun things. Firstly we exchanged some gifts. 🎁 I received a cool tie, some sweets, and other fun goodies. 🍫 Then we went out to look for food, but sadly almost everywhere was closed. Except Little Caesar's! So we ate pizza for our Christmas lunch. 🍕 We also explored "Centro" a little bit and ended up shopping a little in one store, in which I got a really cool Mickey Mouse shirt and socks. 🧦 We also took some pictures with some of the cool sculptures and stuff around which was fun. 🪧 It did get rather hot these last two days. ☀️ We were melting, but the church has air conditioning so all is good. ❄️ However, all in all, a very Merry Christmas. 🎄
