🌧 Cold Rain and Baleadas Galore 🫓

This week was a little shorter since P-day was moved to Wednesday last week. This week was really cold and wet which was nice. 🌧 It rained all week and our house was freezing. 🥶 We've had the fans blowing in the cold air all week which is nice.

We've also gotten to eat a lot of baleadas this week which was fun. We went over to José Palma's house for baleadas that they make us every Friday, but we showed up 3 minutes late so his daughter refused to feed us. 🕑 She told us to come back the next day If we wanted baleadas. So we made sure not to be late the next day. Sunday, Sarai, a nice lady that we're teaching and is progressing well, made us each baleadas which was super nice of her.

We went to a new area one day this week too, because it's a little too far to walk to. We took a bus over to a colonia called Alemania and Camalote. 🇩🇪 There really weren't a lot of people over there we could teach, but we were mostly there to check up on some of the members.

We also spent a lot of time cleaning up our house, especially since it's also the church. 🏠 We've slowly starting organizing things making it look nicer and more accessible to get to things. We have a lot of cardboard boxes, so we've used some of them for shelving and storage. 📦 The guy who usually cuts our grass also didn't come around, so I just went in and manually cut our grass with a machete we got in the house. 🔪

We also have the birthday of our pensionista's daughter coming up, so we're putting together a gift for her too. 🎁 We're going to give her some candy, a pink sweater, and a pen that we made with this cool feather that was giving to us by one of the people we're teaching. 🪶
